Here is some useful information to help you plan your visit to the Murrumbateman Field Days.

VISITOR FACILITIES

Murrumbateman Field Days are set in pleasant, gently undulating recreational grounds with full amenities including:

  • Sealed road to grass/gravel parking with accessible parking.
  • Catering facilities, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
  • Parcel pickup service located at the south gate – phone 0490 907 381 ($10-20).
  • EFTPOS facilities for ticket sales at the entry gates (no cash accepted at the entry gates).
  • ATM’s by ATM-To-Go available outside the Recreation Hall.
  • Full sanitary facilities including accessible toilets (including one located in the public toilets outside the west gate).
  • Comfortable parents room, provided by MECCA.
  • Courtesy Bus for Murrumbateman Village.

WE ARE AN ACCESSIBLE SITE

  • Scooter Hire – Mobility Scooters are available to hire from the Show Mobility Stand located just inside the south entrance. Book your scooter beforehand at Show Mobility or by calling them on 0423 168 955.
  • If you wish to hire a scooter, please use the south car park which has entry from Murrumbateman Road.
  • Accessible parking is available at the south and north car parks – just follow the blue signs.
  • Assistance Dogs are permitted but NO other dogs are allowed on the site. This is strictly enforced so please do not bring dogs with you and please do not leave dogs unattended in parked cars.
  • Companion tickets for carers are available – book online.
  • 98% of the exhibitor stands are accessibility friendly (i.e. Ringers Western, the Newmarket Saddlery truck and the camel rides do have steps).
  • St John Ambulance first aid points are located at the west and south gate.
  • Bushfield Farm Camels will offer sensory experiences for any persons preferring a ‘camel meet and greet’ rather than a camel ride.

Please see the accessibility map for key features (2024 coming soon – for planning purposes attached is 2023, which is very similar to this year).

Are dogs allowed at Murrumbateman Field Days?

Here in the country, we all love our dogs, but due to public health and safety issues we do not allow dogs on the site. For the safety of your pets and the safety of other visitors, please refrain from bringing your four-legged friend/s along.
Of course, working dogs that are competing and guide, medical aid or assistance dogs are welcome. Medical aid and assistance dogs may need documentation.

Yes, there will be ATMs available, the positions are marked on the  map of the site.

Will there be catering available?
